It’s Opening Time!!

We’re delighted to be opening again for 2019 this Saturday March 9th. We can’t wait to catch up with all our customers and friends again.

Opening hours are from 5pm Mon to Sat, and 2-8 pm on Sundays.

Lots of exciting plans for the season.

Sammy and Shane have been working on tasty new dishes for the menu.  More vegetarian options and the usual lovely fish and meat dishes.

We’ve updated our drinks list with more non-alcoholic options for the drivers.  We’ll hopefully have a new local beer on tap. Our barrel of Dingle Whiskey has matured but whether we’ll let it age some more or have it on the shelf hasn’t been decided yet..

We’re working hard on The Glan initiative, a local project aimed at encouraging local businesses to use better practices for all things environmental. We’ve already switched to compostable straws and takaway containers. We plan to phase out sachets, and single use plastic as much as possible.

We’ve been chosen as ambassadors for an ESB renewable energy project on The Dingle Peninsula. We’ll be doing a retrofit during the year, and installing lots of renewable technologies to hopefully make us a greener business and lessen our reliance on fossil fuels. Watch this space.

With communions and confirmations, birthdays, a retirement party and even a small wedding booked its hopefully going to be a busy spring. Be sure to get in touch if you want to celebrate a special occasion.

End of Season

Obviously we are not great at keeping news up to date on here. Facebook seems the easier way to post.

Anyway, just to let you know we are now closed for winter 2018. We had a great year and would like to thank all of our customers for your wonderful support. And of course thanks to all our staff for your hard work.

We hope you have a lovely winter and looking forward to seeing you in March 2019. we’ll reopen on the 9th.

Update on our opening Hours!!

Apologies that we haven’t been serving lunch till now. We just couldn’t source enough kitchen staff to run all day for 7 days. We’ve decided to open for lunch on the weekends. 1-3pm. We’ll then serve the evening menu every day from 4pm.

Bar will be open weekdays for drinks/coffees etc from 1pm daily.

Spring is Here!

We’ve been open a month already! Lovely to see all our wonderful customers back over St Patricks weekend and Easter.

Busy busy and getting back into the swing of things.

We’re just in the middle of a big paint-job outside so everything will be looking fresh and face lifted in the next few days.
